For the ones who are planning to refresh their minds and experience the scenic beauty, FINLAND is just the right place for you all. There are over 1,200 species of vascular plant, 800 bryophytes and 1,000 lichen species in Finland, with flora being richest in the southern parts of the country. Coming to flora and fauna, all the terrestrial life in Finland was completely wiped out following the retreat of the glaciers and the appearance of vegetation. In recent years, snowshoeing and hiking holidays in Oulanka and Riisitunturi National Parks helping to provide an alternative source of income for Sami people working within tourism. Their languages, Sami culture, heritage, handicrafts and a lot more are the things that are captivating enough to make your time worth it. Finland may be known for its frozen forests and reindeer-drawn sleighs but visiting in June to August will make the most of life outside of the dark depths of winter.
