5. Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day

Little Neck-Douglaston is also one of the largest parades in the country in New York. Nearly 10,000 people marching in the parade, the sidewalks along the route are filled every year making it a grand celebration. Make sure you get up early and be at the right spot at the right time.
